The art of communicating is woven into the sequined fabric of my being! For starters, I’m the youngest of five kids, so I learned to master persuasion and negotiation very early. My creative career began firmly in the realm of fine arts, but I quickly realized I always cared about the story behind my work way more than the way it looked. So, I studied Advertising Design with a Copywriting focus at College for Creative Studies, and got some experience under my belt writing at Leo Burnett and Doner while I was a student. I’m a big kid now, writing at Doner full time, and occasionally dabbling in freelance work from silly skits with friends to writing columns in local zines.

Writing in all of it’s multitudes is my one true love, but generally, I do a lot of random things. A “hobby collector”, they call it. Under the umbrella of arts, my current pass time fixations are building midcentury modern bird houses, and doing street film photography. To the left is a window into some of my favorite photo work, and below are some random video diaries I’ve made over the years. Also, for some sick and twisted reason unbeknownst to even me, decided to acquire the title of multi-sport athlete. Depending on the season, I do bouldering, distance running, pilates, and all things cross training. Falling off of massive rocks and attempting marathons with asthma keeps you humble.

My Spotify wrapped could make a grown man cry. Music, to me, is an entirely singular category of discussion. It is truly a gargantuan part of my life. My dad and I both love live music and spend way too much time curating playlists. Genuinely, it would be near impossible to find me in a moment of complete silence outside of work. I’ve seen 70+ live shows and concerts, including around 12(?) music festivals. I was going to list them below in alphabetical order but I’ll let my tastes have some mystique.
